Haleyville Roars Past Tarrant 28-7

TARRANT, AL -The Haleyville Lions held off a late game threat by the Tarrant Wildcats to come away with a 28-7 victory Friday night at Tarrant Stadium.  

The victory improves the Lions to 2-0 on the season while the Wildcat slip to 0-2.  

Looking ahead, Tarrant will travel to Centerville to take on the 1-1 Bibb County Choctaws to kickoff Class 4A, Region 4 play next Friday night.  Haleyville will begin their Region 5 slate by welcoming the 0-2 Curry Yellow Jackets to Bubba Scott Field.
