Puccio Leads Arab Past Priceville 42-7

PRICEVILLE, AL – In a commanding performance on the road, Arab senior quarterback Drew Puccio shined, rushing for 150 yards and three touchdowns, while passing for an additional 120 yards and a score, leading the Arabian Knights to a 42-7 victory over the Priceville Bulldogs Friday night in Morgan County.  

Puccio’s impressive night included touchdown runs of 20, 38, and 58 yards. He demonstrated precision through the air by completing 12-of-15 passes, including a 16-yard touchdown toss to Landon Strickland. Puccio also contributed with two kick returns covering 52 yards.

Junior Luke Hudson added to the offensive surge, carrying the ball 20 times for 148 yards and scoring a pair of touchdowns. Strickland was a reliable target in the passing game, hauling in five catches for 67 yards.

First year head coach Kyle Routon’s Knights close out the regular season at 6-4. Up next for Arab is a road trip to the Birmingham metro to take on the fifth ranked Moody Blue Devils (7-2) in the first round of the AHSAA Class 5A playoffs.  

Priceville’s season comes to a close at 2-8.
