Springville Tigers Head Football Coach Jon Clements Resigns

SPRINGVILLE, AL – Following four seasons at the helm of the Springville High School football program, head coach Jon Clements is stepping down.  

Clements posted a 13-28 record overall including a 1-17 mark in region play and a trip to the post season in 2023 during his tenure with the St. Clair County program.  

Prior to accepting the head coaching position at Springville in 2021, he spent one season as the St. Clair County Saints offensive coordinator.  

His first head coaching stop was a two year stint at Corner where he lead the Class 5A Yellow Jackets to a combined 13-9 record, highlighted by a pair of playoff appearances.  Earlier in his career he served as the offensive coordinator at Pinson Valley and Clay-Chalkville high schools.  His head coaching record currently stands at 26-37 with three trips to the post season over six seasons.  

The Tigers closed out 2024 at 3-7 with a 1-5 mark in Class 5A, Region 6 play.
