BIRMINGHAM, AL – The Pisgah Lady Eagles are on the cusp of yet another state title. With a relentless defensive effort, Pisgah defeated Highland Home 64-31 during Monday’s Class 2A Girls’ Semifinals at the BJCC’s Legacy Arena. The victory earned the Eagles, coached by Carey Ellison, a spot in the finals, where they’ll take on Decatur Heritage Friday morning at 9AM.
The Eagles forced 28 turnovers and scored 30 points directly off Highland Home miscues, showcasing a trademark defensive performance. With 10 state championships already under their belt, Pisgah (21-8) is aiming to add another banner to their impressive legacy.
