Mobile Christian Dominates Chickasaw in 48-0 Season Opener

MOBILE, AL – Mobile Christian started its season with a decisive 48-0 victory over Chickasaw, showcasing a powerful offense and a commanding defense.

Running back Jason Todd was for head coach Charles Lawson’s Leopards, rushing for 189 yards on 14 carries. Todd scored two significant touchdowns on runs of 13 and 81 yards, consistently breaking through the Chieftains defense.

Landon Stewart’s performance at quarterback was also a major factor. He completed 6-of-9 passes for 77 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown pass to Sema’J Law, and added another score on the ground.

The Leopards’ defense proved impenetrable, holding Chickasaw to just 108 total yards of offense on the night. The unit forced three turnovers and capped its impressive showing by returning an interception for a score.

Following the win, Mobile Christian (1-0) will welcome Mississippi’s Presbyterian Christian to Harrison Field this Friday night.  Chickasaw will travel to Flomaton to take on the 1-0 Hurricanes.
