Whitesburg Christian Defeats Brindlee Mountain 42-6

HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Whitesburg Christian Warriors claimed their first victory of the season Friday night, earning a decisive 42-6 win over region opponent Brindlee Mountain. The Warrior offense was firing on all cylinders in the Class 3A, Region 8 opener for the two Tennessee Valley Squads.

The Win improves head coach Jere Adcock’s Warriors to 1-1 on the season while the Lions, who secured one of their biggest wins in program history, a 41-0 shutout of the Vina Red Devils, last week, slips to 1-2.

Whitesburg signal caller Greer Lovell led the charge for the Warriors, tossing a pair of touchdown passes. Emerson White and Henry Nuwayhid were on the receiving end of Lovell’s scoring throws.
