CARROLLTON, GA – The Parker Thundering Herd’s impressive 14-game winning streak came to an end on Friday night, as they fell 43-7 to Georgia powerhouse Carrollton in an interstate clash. The road loss marked Parker’s first defeat since their last matchup with the same Carrollton Trojans.

Entering the highly anticipated contest, both teams held impressive rankings. Carrollton stood as the No. 3 team in Georgia, while Parker was ranked No. 3 in Alabama, setting the stage for a competitive battle between top programs.

Trojans Dominate on Both Sides of the Ball

Carrollton established control early and never let up, shutting out the Thundering Herd completely in the second half. The Trojans’ offense amassed 423 total yards, a stark contrast to Parker’s 221 yards.

After an early Parker touchdown, Carrollton’s offense found its rhythm. Quarterback Cam Wood and Peyton Zachary each contributed two touchdowns, leading a relentless scoring effort.
