James Clemens Blanks Albertville 45-0
MADISON, AL – The James Clemens Jets secured their third consecutive victory Friday night, earning a decisive 45-0 shutout over the Albertville Aggies in the Class 7A, Region 4 finale for both north Alabama teams. The Jets established complete control early, heading into halftime with an imposing 38-0 lead over the visitors from Sand Mountain.
The win improves the Jets to 5-4 overall, 5-2 in the region, while the Aggies slip to 1-8 on the season and capped region play at 1-6.
The Jets offense featured a dynamic ground attack, with six different players scoring rushing touchdowns. MJ Gideon ignited the scoring with a 41-yard touchdown run. Mason Rose followed with a 12-yard touchdown run, and Tank Ezell powered into the end zone from two yards out. Christian Richey and Jai-Dyn Delbridge also contributed touchdown runs in the commanding win.
The James Clemens defense was equally formidable, forcing multiple turnovers in the first half. Braylon Walters and Derrick White Jr. each recovered a fumble, while Myles Yarbrough came away with an interception to stifle any potential Albertville momentum.
Looking ahead, The Jets will welcome the Class 5A, Region 5 champion and No. 6 ranked Homewood Patriots to Madison City Schools Stadium next Thursday night. Albertville will close out their 2025 campaign by hosting arch rival Guntersville (8-1, 5-1) on Friday.
