Michael Harper Resigns After Two Seasons as New Hope Indians Head Football Coach

NEW HOPE, AL – Michael Harper has stepped down as head football coach at New Hope High School after two seasons. Harper, who led the Indians to a 5-15 overall record and 4-12 in Class 4A, Region 8 play, cited family reasons for his decision.

“This wasn’t an easy choice,” Harper said. “I love the people, the community, and the players here. This decision was entirely about what’s best for my family.”
